About us

Since 2012 PROJECT CLIMATE supports responsible companies and institutions that want to make a credible contribution to climate protection. Our goal is for companies to stop emitting CO2 from the middle of the century.

Our focus is on sustainable mobility. Here we have expertise and a lot of experience. Our clients benefit from both in our consulting projects. Carbon offsetting also focuses on mobility – because it makes particular sense here as a bridging solution. However, carbon offsetting can also make sense in other areas. Where exactly and where not, we define this together with our clients.

We see ourselves as a “social business”, a new type of company that addresses social problems – such as climate change – and whose goal is to create social benefits. Nevertheless, unlike privately-run, church or state aid organisations, social entrepreneurs are obliged to work profitably. Like any other company, we have employees, balance sheets and a desire to make a profit.

Management

Jan-Moritz Jericke

In April 2016 Jan-Moritz Jericke joined the PROJECT CLIMATE team as Managing Director. Before, he worked at atmosfair in Berlin for four years, where he learned a lot about sustainable mobility and the beauties and pitfalls of CO2 offsetting.

His conviction: A CO2-free economy in the middle of the century is feasible. But you have to start the transition now. And whoever starts first wins in the end.

Jan-Moritz Jericke studied International Affairs with a focus on sustainability in St. Gallen, Vancouver and Paris. In the mornings you can usually meet him on his bicycle when he is on his way to work, passing a traffic jam in Stuttgart.

Felix von Zwehl founded PROJECT CLIMATE in 2012. His aim is to show companies methods to make their mobility more sustainable.
He is a registered attorney in Munich. After studying business and law, he worked in international law firms in Munich and New York. He loves to escape the daily routine while climbing and during ski tours.
